 Our Story

Founded in 2009, Approved Food started as a small operation selling surplus food on market stalls in Hull and Doncaster. Today, we operate from a 60,000 sq ft warehouse in Dodworth, South Yorkshire, employing over 50 staff members.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide customers with access to quality products at discounted prices while contributing to the reduction of food waste. We specialize in surplus and short-dated stock, offering products that are near or just past their ‘best before’ date, allowing us to pass on significant savings to our customers.
